            In March
1983, the first Coyote flew. This humble little one-seater has grown
into a highly acclaimed aircraft around the world. The design
endures today as a highly-evolved kitplane with the original design
goal intact. The goal was to build a kitplane that looks, flies and
handles like a conventional plane, but has a very low build time.
Today's Coyote, even with its added sophistication and extra
performance, builds in 180 hrs. Low build times are possible due to
the high level of prefinished parts, pre-sewn skins and ease of
assembly. A Coyote can be built in the confines of an average garage
using normal shop tools and skills. First time and experienced kit
builders are attracted to the Coyote because of the ease of
construction and quality. Optional doors can mean year-around flying
            and added cruise speed.
